The reindeer ‘Lightning’ came to visit from the North Pole. Mrs Dixon sprinkled magic dust and the children turned into reindeer. They pranced around the garden on our reindeer dash for St John’s Hospice.
We read the Beatrix Potter book "The Tailor of Gloucester." We then made our own mice, decorated waistcoats and did our own threading of cotton reels. We talked about how the mice helped the tailor and we learnt some new vocabulary too.
Today we made Christmas puddings using rice krispies and chocolate. We saw how the chocolate melted in the microwave and we could then pour it into the bowls. We had to carefully spoon some rice krispis into our bowls. We then mixed the chocolate and rice krispies....
We had fun today at the Christmas fair. We played pin the red nose on Rudolph and chose a stick to see if it had a red dot on (Santa's stick). We bought cakes from the cake stall and we made decorations.

What is in the sky? We have been pretending to travel into space in our rockets. We read the book 'Whatever Next!' and we travelled to the moon. We have seen some aliens this week in nursery too. Hope they don't come and take our spare underwear just like in 'Aliens...
