We read the story ‘Whatever Next’ and then retold the story.
On Monday a rocket appeared in nursery and we have been off flying to the moon

We have looked at the different colours of the planets and painting our planets with an anti-clockwise circle.
We made our own rockets in the construction area and also with our junk materials. We compared the sizes of our rockets to see which was the tallest and the shortest.
We practise our mark making going round and round and we went on a star hunt outside.
The aliens left us a letter asking us to find things that are magnetic so we searched around nursery with our magnetic wands to see what they would stick to.
