We have been learning about where we live.
We made paintings of the seaside. We painted the blue sea adding cellophane, the yellow sand (we added sand to the paint to add texture) and orange for the prom drawing stones on. We then drew and coloured different things that we may find, cut them out and added them to painting. We drew people, boats, shells and sandcastles.
We made some of the places that we can see in Morecambe, the stone jetty and The Midland Hotel.
We made our own rock pool and explored the shells and sea weed.
We made ice-creams in the mud kitchen.
We made boats from the large bricks.
