We have been having an exciting week in Nursery learning all about the platium jubilee of Queen Elizabeth.
We read the story “Peppa goes to London”
We dressed up as princesses, princes and Queen’s guards.
We watched trooping the colour and practised our marching
We painted pictures of the Queen and the Union Jack flag.
We made Jam Tarts like the Queen of Hearts.
We made London landmarks – Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.
We made our red, white and blue shakers.
We built sandcastles in our new outdoor sandpit and made red, white and blue flags.
We made our own crowns.
We made red, white and blue patterns with pegs, cubes, bricks and counters
We wrote our meus for jubilee snack. We also had a jubilee street party for our lunch.
