This week in Nursery we are talking about changing Seasons – Winter.
Have a look at this book together. Ridiculous. Who tried to help the tortoise? How did he get home?
Our outdoor story is The Gruffalo’s child. Can you remember the gruffalo story from a few weeks ago? This has the same characters and the same setting but who is the new character?
Sing this rhyme together. Here we go round the mulberry bush. Can you think of your own verses?
Number rhyme – 5 little snowmen – Can you make 5 snowmen and act out the rhyme?
Activity 1
Look at this clip about icicles forming. What is happening? Can you freeze a toy in ice? Talk about what happened. Can you then free the toy? How did you do it?
Activity 2
Can you make a snowman picture. What materials can you use? What can you add to your snowman? Can you add a hat, buttons, eyes, nose?
