This week we are looking at the story of Shrek. How many familiar characters can you spot?
Activity 1 – Watch the clip of the film Shrek. Can you name some familiar characters? Are there any familiar characters? Can you write a list of the familiar characters?
Activity 2 – To use appropriate adjectives (describing words) to describe Shrek
Can the children describe what he looks like? What sort of a person is Shrek? Use some of these words as prompt – grumpy, happy, funny, angry.
Activity 3
Using the Shrek characters – counting to 10/20 in ones and then back again. Challenge – Can the children write numerals on paper 6,7,8,9,10
