Dear Year 1 Children,
Below you can see your Maths and English activities for this week.
English is reading the letter – as independently as you can using you phonics to decode words and to write a letter back to us.
There is a phonics activity linked to the letter too.
Maths is ‘capacity’ which means finding out how much something can hold.
For example how much water will fill a cup or how many sweets will fill a container. A fun time for getting out your plastic containers and filling them up with water and objects.
