I hope you are all well and doing lots of playing!
This week in nursery we would have been looking at the story of The Gingerbread man. Have you ever read the story of The Gingerbread man? Here is an online version you could share together with your grown ups. There are also some number games after the story you could play. Can you count out the number of buttons the gingerbread man has? Or maybe you could match the gingerbread man to the correct numeral?
Here is an animated version of the story to enjoy too.
Can you retell the story of the gingerbread man? Have you got any characters/toys you could use to help you retell the story? Or maybe you could make your own puppets.
Why not have a go at baking your own delicious gingerbread men. Here is a recipe to follow:
Can you design your own gingerbread man? You could draw him, use this template or you could even use playdough (recipe is in your home learning sheets you collected in your red book). Don’t forget his gum drop buttons
There are lots of animals who want to catch the gingerbread man. Can you draw any of the animals in your red book?
What animals can you hear? Can you make the animal sounds?
We miss you all!
