We hope you are well and working through your Home Learning packs.
Here are a few extra ideas for you to try this week.
Go to the White Rose site (Week 1) to recap ratio: https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/
There are five lessons there, which will keep you busy for the week.
Here is a new site to explore if you’ve finished reading every book in the house! https://www.getepic.com/
It’s free for parents to sign you up and you will have access to hundreds of books! Why not write a review of one of them and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org ?
Go to this site ( Pobble365) and pick any day (top right) to find a range of activities linked to a picture stimulus. Click on the arrow in the picture to reveal a story starter, some questions about the text and a sentence challenge. You can even ‘cure’ some sick sentences! Why not start with the 6th April (The Hidden Temple)? Remember to send in your finished pieces to the address above. We can’t wait to see what you can do.
Revise words with silent letters.
How many words with silent letters can you write down in two minutes? Play against your family. Who is the winner?
How are you getting on with your Morecambe project? Have you found out anything interesting about our local area? Remember to send in your finished work to email@example.com
Make sure that you get off that console or iPad and take some fresh air every day. You know who you are!
How are you getting on with Joe Wicks and his PE sessions? Visit his YouTube channel on week days at
9 am. You can catch up later if you can’t make the live sessions.
We miss you all and can’t wait to see you again soon. Look out for more Home Learning Activities next week. Stay safe everyone!
