Hi Guys! Here are this week’s ideas for learning activities.
This week we will be continuing to look at fractions including fractions on a number line, fractions of a set of objects and equivalent fractions.
Take a look at www.whiterosemaths.co.uk year 3 home learning page, week 2. They have videos to start you off and an activity sheet to apply what you have learnt. If you want some extra practice go to pages 96-97 and 114-117 of your maths no problem workbook b.
Challenge – you can find some extra videos and activities at www.iseemaths.com if you would like to do some extra maths learning.
TTRockstars – try to practice your tables on TTRockstars daily. We have 5 rock legends in year 3 at the moment, well done!
Visit bug club daily and earn coins to be able to play games! We had 3 children from 3B that opened a book and had a go at answering some of the questions. Lets see if we can get even more on this week!
Did anyone manage to get their work chosen last week for the final story? Have you sent your work in to firstname.lastname@example.org?
Head over to Jane Considine’s youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuaq74gHBALPcb1nbJ1EF2Q for some sentence stacking fun! Her lessons premiere at 9.45am each day. Could your work be chosen to be added to the story that is read at 3.30pm?
Visit www.spellingframe.co.uk and practice the year 3 and 4 spelling rule 6 – mixed prefixes.
Which areas of the Morecambe project did you have a look at last week? Which of the areas are you going to choose to look at this week? Please send your finished pieces to email@example.com . We can’t wait to see them!
Are you managing to keep up with Joe Wick’s 9am workouts? He is definitely putting us through our paces!
Also make sure you visit the Dear children page under news and events for more ideas from your lovely teachers.
We miss you all and can’t wait to see you!
