Dear Parents
You will have heard the announcement that schools will be closing as from Friday apart from provision for vulnerable groups and key workers.
We are awaiting instruction from Lancashire County Council as to how we will proceed.
However, it is my first priority to identify these groups so essential care and support can be given by our nurses, etc.
Please contact us if you are a key worker. We are currently using the definition of a key worker as support health services, social care, delivery drivers, emergency services and school workers. If you are not in one of these groups can you please await further information so the phone lines don’t become blocked.
We are putting an emergency plan together which will include access to learning resources. As you will appreciate this is a huge task as who have over 400 pupils.
Thank you for your patience and co-operation and I will continue to update you as soon as I am provided with further information.
