Anglo-Saxons

We looked at what happened in Britain after the Romans left in the 5th century. Using the mysterious burial ship at Sutton Hoo as a basis, we explored where the Anglo-Saxons came from, how they came to settle in Britain and how Christianity became the predominant religion. We also looked at key individuals from this period, including the reign of King Alfred. Y5 finished this unit of work by writing some articles!
